Catalina 315

The new 315 continues moving the Catalina brand to a higher level of performance, finish and engineering achievement. The 315 sails into the global marketplace with all the style and refinement of the larger Catalina 5 Series boats.

With core attributes of the award-winning 445 and 355, the 315 includes features that are not found in many of the world’s yachts, yet come standard with the Catalina 5 Series: a watertight StrikeZone™ collision bulkhead, the SecureSocket™ mast support system that affords superior load resolution and watertight integrity; the DeepDefense™ rudder system for failsafe steering, and the T-Beam MastStep™ structure that has all the benefits of a deck-stepped mast and the strength of a keel-stepped mast.

All the best elements of the 5 Series Catalinas are replicated in the 315. You’ll find a bold emphasis on strength, lead keels, sleek low profile cabin design, ergonomically correct cockpits that are optimized for efficiency, with great visibility from the helm. Plus, all the classic warmth and ambience that only a teak interior creates.

Catalina 355

The qualities admired in Catalina’s award-winning 445—versatile, fast, comfortable spacious and safe—formed the basis of the newest model in the Catalina fleet. Presenting the all-new Catalina 355, a new hull design with a long waterline, moderate beam and freeboard, and a handsome low-profile cabin structure.

Everywhere you look on the 355, you’ll find features that make sailing for the day or for extended periods a pure pleasure. Precise mainsail control is a snap with a 5′ long traveler. Long, inboard genoa tracks accommodate headsails from a powerful 155% genoa to a storm jib, allowing a balanced sail plan for all wind conditions. The inboard shrouds and hardware facilitates tighter sheeting angles for upwind performance, and wide, unobstructed weather decks for safety.

Some features inspired by her predecessor are an articulating forward berth with innerspring mattress, a dedicated filter locker, large cockpit locker with gull wing hatch and available quad-leaf folding table.

The 355 is fast and comfortable with qualities proven in its pedigree that are sure to win you over.

Catalina 385

Lead keels, long travelers for precise sail control, and lengthy inboard genoa tracks so the sail plan is balanced in all wind conditions are just a few of the many design features that sets the new Catalina 385 apart from other yachts.

More unique features include a watertight StrikeZone™ collision bulkhead aft of the anchor locker. A new backstay system creates an impressive cockpit for the avid sailor, and Catalina’s unique SecureSocket™ chain plates mast support system affords superior load resolution.

The latest in the line of new Catalinas that evolved from successful design features and proportions of previous models, the 385’s moderate beam is carried well aft for a spacious cockpit; modest freeboard reduces windage and a beautiful hand-finished teak interior brings it all home with classic warmth and styling that has been a trademark of Catalina for 41 years.

Catalina 425

The 425 incorporates all of Catalina’s hallmark features: a functional, spacious cockpit, a comfortable, carefully detailed interior, and all the 5 Series features that have redefined the Catalina brand.

The deck includes twin helms on performance pedestals with pre-stretched cables. The hull features six large fixed ports recessed into the hull for lots of light and visibility. A self-tacking jib and jib traveler are standard, and main and jib sheets are lead to the helm for efficient short-handed sailing. The forward owner’s cabin features a large centerline berth with an elevating adjustable mattress. There are starboard and port aft cabins; the latter is easily convertible to a storage cabin with agull wing cockpit hatch. A central accessible mechanical space provides excellent access to primary engine, generator, water heater and air conditioners, which simplifies maintenance and inspections necessary for systems reliability.

Catalina 445

This model from Catalina incorporates crisp, contemporary styling with proportions and features that make Catalinas comfortable and secure underway and on the hook.

Based on a modern hull design with a long waterline, moderate beam and freeboard, the 445 has excellent performance characteristics. The hull form is optimized to provide the gentle, predictable motion underway, which is so appreciated in other Catalina models.

The deck is strikingly handsome with a low profile cabin structure, twin helm stations and a roomy cockpit with tall, secure, comfortable coamings and a cockpit table that seats 4-6. The deck is finished with a traditional diamond-patterned non-skid.

The owner’s cabin is forward for privacy and optimum ventilation. Private head access from the forward cabin along with an electric head and separate shower complete the forward cabin arrangement. The guest cabin is aft with a large comfortable double berth, angled for easy access and greater headroom.

This design incorporates an innovative cabin on the port side. This cabin is a flexible space that can easily be converted to whatever your cruising style dictates at the time – sleeping quarters, storage, or a work room with a bench. The galley has the storage and features needed for extended cruising.
