Hudson TrawlerCat

Hudson Yacht and Marine, the parent company of Hudson Powercat, began back in 2012 as a partnership between Hudson Wang and Paul Hakes. Together they assembled a team that would include some of the boating industry’s finest marine architects, designers and engineers and set about building luxury yachts that would outperform all other boats in their class.

The facility is in Xiamen, China, and has over 300,000 square feet of modern factory space and 400 employees. It is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that was set up eight years ago by Hudson Wang. The yard has a history of success in building high-end performance cruising catamarans in both sail and power. Whether using aerospace materials or conventional GRP, the yard is fully self-sufficient with multiple large CNC capabilities and the ability to build strong composites to beautifully finished interiors.
