The Catalina 385 is an evolution of successful design features and proportions -- moderate beam carried well aft for a spacious cockpit, moderate freeboard for reduced windage and pleasing appearance, as well as an innovative and beautifully finished interior. Great attention was also given to ergonomics and classic styling. The 385 breaks from tradition aesthetically, with features that set it apart from other builders. Such details include a watertight StrikeZone, a new backstay system that creates an impressive cockpit for avid sailors, and the SecureSocket chain plates mast support system that affords superior load resolution and watertight integrity.

All the best elements of successful previous models come together in the 385. Lead keels, roomy cockpits, long travelers for precise sail control, and long inboard genoa tracks that allow the sail plan to be balanced in all wind conditions. And, the classic warmth and finesse that has been a Catalina trademark since 1969.

This 385 comes to you with a 2 cabin, 1 head layout with the galley to starboard and aft berth to port. "Aria's" salon has a comfortable settee with extending, adjustable table and two seats across allowing plenty of room for guests. As for the exterior, her cockpit has a full, navy cover as well as bench style seating, observation seats over transom, and a cockpit table forward of the helm.

"Aria" has obtained a number of upgrades over the years:
