The Crealock 37 was introduced to the US sailboat market in 1978 and quickly earned a solid reputation among blue water cruising enthusiasts. A traditional-looking boat, the Crealock 37 is about as pretty as they get. The canoe stern, although not for everyone, was nearly perfectly drawn by Bill Crealock. The Crealock 37 was conceived and marketed as a "go-anywhere" boat, and in design and construction it fits the bill.
Chianti has rested on the hard since 2007, her owner being focused on family and business. This past May, the owner decided to bring her out of moth balls and has invested the past 4 months restoring her. The mast was pulled, de-rigged, inspected, sand blasted and painted. New running rigging installed and standing rigging inspected, the mast was re-stepped this month. After rigorous cleaning, changing of fluids, and checking systems operation, Chianti is ready for a re-launch. Original intention was to sail south, but plans have changed and Chianit is now available for her next caretaker. Located in a private dry storage yard in Anacortes, please call for an appointment to see her.
